My husband and I adopted the similar theory when we cashed in our retirement and move to New Mexico I remember the deer in the headlight look and feeling I had giving up a secure job of 18 years and a place that we live at for 18 years. I wanted to enjoy life now not taking a chance on being able to do it later. Well thank god for that. Most of the people I know no longer have a retirement to speak of at least one that will support them. So now I don't feel so bad. I've been able to play in the mountains I've called home since birth. This article talks about living a simpler life one that cost less and includes more playing, and in these times it really makes sense. Think back at all the people that have worked to retirement age waiting for that time were they could do what they want and only live for a few years. My parents were one of those. So now it's time to complete that plan I'm giving up my house in the East Mountains to live in Grants again at a small ranch house so we can have an extra 1250 a month of play money. Now I have 2 homes that I run back and forth to and find that the plan we had when we moved out here isn't anymore, too busy traveling back and forth and spending too much on 2 homes. My husband and I don't see each other much he gave up that dream job of working only 2 days a week for a office job 5 days a week. I'm not going to live much pass retirement age my parents didn't and I have worked hard all my life for my family and have given them the head start that will make life easier. It's my time to play! It's time to get back on track!

ForGiveness

I thought about this subject for some time and tried to think of a way to start, Well were do I start. I work with adults I've been in management side of the health care field for over 13 years now. My children would ask me what I did at work and my response was the same things as I do at home my children are just bigger I didn't say older just bigger. Don't you feel at times that we all act like children some time or another. That if we would just grow up and act like adults things would be better. So and so didn't make us mad we let him or her make us mad. No one makes us do anything we let these things happen. A simple statement or word said at time of being angry can't destroys our life in less we let it. Like a seed if we plant this anger and water and fertilize it weekly it will grow into a weed and cause a lot of resentment and problems in our life taking up a pretty big place in your life were prettier things ought to be growing. So pull that weed out and let the anger and resentment GO because we allowed it to grow there so we must be able to get rid of it right. It didn't change our lives we let it change us. When small disagreements and squabbles start don't let the seed grow it's not admitting who is right or wrong it's saying it really doesn't matter your my friend or family no matter what. Only you can let it affect your relationship. It can effect the teamwork that's so important in life and work.
They saying Life is too Short, isn't that the truth, being in the health care field we all know when it's your time to die it's your time young and old. Nickelback has a song "If this was your last day" the video is really hits home.
